Welcome to UCSC’s Business Plan Competition! The Business Plan Competition aims to provide a unique learning experience for all participants. This competition is about helping students get their business ideas off the ground. All participants will be submitting business plans to be judged by people who come from different backgrounds and companies and have valuable insight on how a business is ran. The winners will be awarded prize money to help them launch their businesses into the right direction.

With all the sponsors’ input the Business Plan Competition plan to offer up to $25,000 of total prize money to the winners and runners-up of the contest.

Last years winners of our first annual Business Plan Competition!
The Finals Event took place on May 29th, 2009 at the University Center of UCSC. At the event, teams had 15 minutes to present their business plan to a panel of judges as well as to an attending audience of 150+. First place was awarded $12, 000. Second $2,000 and Third $1,000. In addition, the audience was able to select a People's choice award for $500.
