Semi-Final Full Business Plan Due:

A full business plan will be due via the competition website by 11:59 pm PST. Judges will then begin review process to select from the entrants the business plans which best meet the judging criteria.

Semi-Finals:

An off campus event to be held at NextSpace. Teams will be individually making presentations in front of a panel of judges. Teams not presenting will be a holding room where they may network. Food and drinks will be available. Judges will complete their judging as of this date.

Finals - Public Presentations:

Final presentations will be made to a prominent judge panel, made up of venture capitalists from the Santa Cruz and Silicon Valley communities.  With judge panel having already reviewed finalist business plans, the teams will make a formal presentation to the judge panel and will field questions. The judge panel will convene immediately following the presentations to deliberate and select the winners.

At this public event, registered guests will have the opportunity to vote on the “People’s Choice Award.”  There will be keynote address, VIP speakers, and recognition of key sponsors, mentors, planning committees and event participants. The event will be held on UCSC campus.
